The project includes documentation of unique works on canvas, paper, monotypes, limited editions and other (i.e. ceramics and mixed media works). The entries are presented out of chronological order as our research is ongoing and will be updated on a daily basis. All information is subject to change.
Full access to the Sam Francis: Online Catalogue Raisonné Project is available to users at no charge.
We offer additional research services regarding Francis’s oeuvre should you require information on an artwork not currently listed, or if you have a rush request for documentation purposes, i.e. auction house sales or appraisal reports.
Responding to your request in a timely manner includes a reimbursement fee that is earmarked as a contribution to the educational focus of the catalogue raisonné project.
